GENERAL PROVISIONS:
The warranty period begins on the date the cap/tonneau is purchased by the original retail customer or put into use (e.g. Demo), whichever is earlier. JASON warrants to the original Purchaser for the original vehicle that it will, at its option, either repair the items covered by this warranty, or replace the original product with a product or equal value or model, based on current model availability. This warranty specifically excludes damage due to accidents, misuse, alterations, improper installation, traveling with the tonneau cover or truck cap rear door in the open position, or lack of proper care and maintenance as listed in this warranty. Consequential damage or loss due to the installation, use, misuse, abuse or neglect of a JASON cap/tonneau is the sole responsibility of the pickup owner and operator (purchaser). Paint wear to your truck’s bed is normal and expected with the installation and use of any truck cap or tonneau and is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser. Precautions should be taken by the pickup truck owner to prevent corrosion. JASON shall not be held liable for any consequential loss or damages arising from the purchase, installation or use of JASON products.

All removal, installation, packing and shipping cost to and from JASON will be the Purchaser’s responsibility should circumstances require said unit be returned to JASON. Dealer and/or customer installed parts, accessories or paint are NOT subject to JASON’S replacement or reimbursement. JASON does not accept any responsibility to Purchaser for warranty express or implied by any of its dealers, distributors or agents. JASON does NOT, under any circumstances, assume any liability or responsibility for loss of time, inconvenience, consequential damage including but not limited to expense for telephone, food, lodging, travel, damage to personal property or damage to the base vehicle.
The remedies afforded by this warranty are determined by JASON and expressly limited to the Original Purchaser or in service date (demo) and are limited to the replacement or repair or parts defective. JASON disclaims any responsibility or liability to any subsequent owner or purchaser(s) of a JASON unit or product. No implied warranty or fitness for a particular purpose, if any, shall extend for a longer period than the terms of this written warranty. The Warranty herein stated is in lieu of all other expressed warranties on the part of JASON and no person, agent or representative of JASON is authorized to make any representation or warranty concerning JASON products on behalf of JASON except to refer the Purchaser to this warranty.
